Welcome 5th Grade Class of 2012~
My name is Ms. Leishman and I am going to be your Language Arts and Social Studies teacher this year. Some of you may already know me as Ms. Chris, or Jack/Max/ Jimmy's mom, or had me as a substitute teacher last spring. When Ms. Kaune decided to move back home over the summer, Ms. Dowd called to see if I would like to be the B2 teacher for LA and SS, and without a moment's hesitation, I said "YES!"
I am looking forward to a great year with you! I have been working for the past few weeks getting the classroom clean and ready, and now it is time to get our website up and running. I will post assignments, field trips, special announcements - as well as photos, as soon as I figure out how! Don't forget to check back often for updates. You may even find some hidden opportunities to bring your grades up with a little extra credit or earn some bonus "tickets" towards our weekly drawing:)
